A group of students organized CSF by getting some churches to buy a house
at 707 E. 8th Street and getting a grad student Gary Weedman to help
lead the group.
1970's
- Campus minister Jack Haun was hired to direct the ministry
- Diana Minnick was the first secretary
- Sunday morning worship services began
- First fall retreat at Camp Olivet
- Associate minister Ward Patterson joined the staff
- National retreats at French Lick
- Ward became director and Steve Wesner became an associate minister
- Work trips to Cookson Hills children's home in Oklahoma
- Second campus house at 606 S. Fess; a girl's house director Lynn Macy
was hired
- Jeri Roesch helped as a part-time associate; Susan Lane became girl's
house director
- Melody Hamilton replaced Diana Minnick as secretary
1980's
- Ritchie replaced Steve Wesner as associate
- Mission trips began to Haiti and Mexico
- Discontinued Sunday morning services
- Purchased girl's house at 713 E. 8th Street
- Linda Sarchet replaced Melody as secretary
1990's
- Mission trips to Mexico, Arizona, Louisiana, Washington D.C., Venezuela
- Renovation of the 707 and 713 houses
- Fall, winter, and spring retreats at FCA National Camp, Camp Olivet,
Hanging Rock, Hilltop, and Illiana
- Ritchie Hoffman became director; Tim Scott, Paul Steiner, and Bill
Kershner joined staff as associates
- Rented additional houses at 816 and 820 E. 8th Street
2000's
- Purchased new ministry center at 1968 N. Jordan with capacity for 70+
