Small Groups - Spring 2008

Want to learn more about God’s Word? Then join one of our small groups for fellowship and scripture study. Small groups are the place to develop disciples and to be engaged in the functions of Biblical community (doing life together, spiritual formation, evangelism, etc).

 

My Utmost For His Highest [Guys] Mondays @ 7:45 pm at the Campus House. If you're a guy who seeks a small group who's focus is fellowship, service, and discipleship, then come to CSF Monday evenings and dive into Andy Stanley's "The Best Question Ever." This DVD study provides prospective into decision making and life choices, and this small group offers an intimate setting for men to study God's word and enjoy life together. Led by Ryan King

Tough Questions [Coed] Tuesdays @ from 7 pm - 8:15 pm at the Pourhouse Cafe (314 E. Kirkwood). Do you have tough questions about life, God and the Christian faith? Do you hunger for the spiritual meat in the Bible? Do you want to discover God's specific calling for your life? If you studies by Beth Moore, Ray VanDerLaan and Rob Bell this study is for you! Through this study we hope to enhance your understanding of Scripture and rejuvenate your walk with the Lord. Led by Steve Pendleton.

Comfortable in Your Own Skin [Girls] Tuesdays @ 9pm at April's apt.  We would like to read and discuss the book Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell.  Led by Erin Sweeney and April Knipstine.

Hebrews [Girls] Wednesdays @ 6:40 pm meet at the Campus House and we'll carpool to our destination of the week. We'll be diving into Hebrews and applying it to our life. Led by Stephanie Michael

The Greatest Commandment [Coed] Wednesdays @ 8 pm in room 202.5 (Kaleb's room). Led by Kaleb Throckmorton.

Dudes Following Jesus [Guys] Fridays @ 12:30pm at Starbucks in the Union.  We will be talking through the gospel of John, talking through life, doing life together and following Jesus as dudes.  Led by Chris Jones

Bible Study of the End Times [Coed] Saturday mornings at 10 am at the Runcible Spoon on 6th Street. The goal of the group is to read different passages about the end times, talk about the significance, and discuss the commonly held views. Ultimately, the hope is to gain a better understanding of some of the prophesies of the Bible. Led by Megan Beck and Keren Deckard.
